Overnight Oats

Base:

2 cup old fashioned oats

1/2 cup liquid-milk-dairy or non-dairy.

1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds

A pinch of salt.

Mix together the base recipe above.

Add any mix-ins and cover.

Store in fridge overnight, or for up to 5 days.

Ideas to add to base:

Peanut Butter & Jelly

• 1 Tablespoon Strawberry Jam

• 1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter

• ¼ Cup diced strawberries

• 2 Tablespoons chopped peanuts

Apple Pie

• ¼ Cup diced apples (or ½ a medium apple)

• 1 Tablespoon chopped pecans (or nut of choice)

• 2 Tablespoons maple syrup

• ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

• ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

• ¼ teaspoon cloves

Banana Nutella

• ½ banana sliced

• 1 Tablespoon Nutella

• 1 Tablespoon chopped hazelnuts

• 1 Tablespoon chocolate chips or cocoa nibs

Almond Joy

• ¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut

• 1 Tablespoon Almonds

• 1 Tablespoon chocolate chips or cocoa nibs

• 2 Tablespoons maple syrup

Banana Bread

• ½ Banana mashed

• 2 Tablespoons chopped walnuts

• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

• ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Spiced Pear

• ½ diced pear

• 1 Tablespoon chopped pecans

• ½ teaspoon cinnamon

• Pinch of nutmeg

Pina Colada

• ¼ cup diced pineapple

• 1 Tablespoon shredded coconut-I like to toast mine

• ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

• Use coconut milk when making your base

Carrot Cake

• ¼ cup shredded carrot

• 1 Tablespoon shredded coconut

• 1 Tablespoon raisins (regular or golden)

• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

• ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Pumpkin Pie

• ¼ cup pumpkin puree

• 1-2 Tablespoons maple syrup

• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

• ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

• ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt

Orange Cranberry

• Substitute ¼ of liquid with orange juice (2 Tablespoons for ½ cup)

• 1 teaspoon orange zest

• ¼ cup dried cranberries

• 2 teaspoons honey

Coffee

• Substitute ¼ of milk for espresso (2 Tablespoons for ½ cup)

• 1 tablespoon maple syrup

• ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

• 2-3 tablespoons yogur
